Here's some food from during Sarah's visit. The boeuf bourgignon we decided to make one rainy afternoon, using an Anthony Bourdain recipe. We also made gratin dauphinoise to go along with it, which is basically potato gratin. It all turned out very well, and when Eric got home he proclaimed it to be excellent, which we figured was the best we could possibly do, coming from a real Frenchman and all. I also got to buy a new pot because of the whole thing, which I was very excited about. What can I say, I like kitchen accessories.
