random stuff

This is in a comic store near our house. I didn't know Buster Brown was anything but a shoe store...
Tintin
Eric looking at his favorite, Gaston.
Street art.
The little store where I work.

Pont des Arts

I like the actor Romain Duris in the front there, and Eric likes Charlotte Gainsbourg in the back. The movie's not supposed to be so great though, I read. I just like the poster.
Nice cat poster in the metro.

  1. I love the photos. Especially, the ones from your store. Does the shop remind you of the US? I would imagine it would make me feel comfortable to be surrounded by familiar american brands. Does working there evoke the american experience?!?

By the way, I watched The Ugly Truth last night with Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl. I think you and Katie Heigl have a similar facial structure. I hope you consider it a compliment. I think she is very pretty!

    Merry Christmas!

  2. Merry Christmas to you too!!! Thank you for the nice comments. The shop is fun most of the time; I really like it when French people ask my opinion on things or ask about recipes and that sort of thing. Then the rest of the customers are Americans who are living in the neighborhood because of work placement or whatever, and they're usually pretty cool but sometimes all they do is complain about the prices. As if it's free to ship huge heavy boxes of campbell's soup across the ocean. Whatev.
I do think the Heigl comment is a compliment! One other person actually said that to me a few months ago, it's funny! I hope you and Dave and your families are well and wish you happy holidays!
