Here is one of the pizzas Eric made from our homemade pizza night we had on Friday. Also, me in front of the Louvre (which I still haven't actually been into, I admit). And a cute one of Eric with a little Eiffel Tower in the background. And last, a cool sculpture/fountain in St. Germain that looks like the ground is opening up. Voila!

Yum! The pizza looks delicious. I can taste the fresh mozzerella and basil. Maybe Grill Art will add it to their menu.
ReplyDeleteI declare pizza night a success. Holly you look so skinny in that Louvre picture!
ReplyDeletewow thanks! you know how to make a girl happy!
ReplyDeleteand the pizzas were really nice; Eric's were with chorizo, basil tomato sauce, and sauteed red and green onions, fresh mozzerella, and shredded emmental. I did one with pear and goat cheese a la grill art and olive oil with sauteed chopped garlic in it, and the 2 cheeses on top, and my other one I think was the best: it had the sauteed garlic on the dough, then rocket (leafy green), then sauteed red onions, then mozzerella, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar over everything. it was great! i recommend trying it, or tell Rick to try it at the GA, Rhona. He could also use some other green I'm sure.
ReplyDeletetrue of false: rocket is the same thing as arugula.
ReplyDeletepossibly; if not, then very close. they are both fun words to say that make you feel like you really know your way around vegetables.
