trip to the beach

We took a trip to a beach town up north last weekend. This is us on the train.

On the way, we passed a town called Lisieux. They have this big church there, and Saint Theresa was born there. People do pilgrimages to go there. I am aware that that is not grammatically correct, but I'm not sure what would be.

This is a sign on the train that means put your cellphone to sleep.

The town is called Deauville, and here is the port there. There were a lot of old buildings where they used to build ships.

Tim was visiting from Philly for his work again; he and Lisa seemed to be getting along well...until the next morning. I shall not speak of it here.

And Mike and Diane were visiting too, from Paris.
